CER Educational Modules

This 10-module educational program is adapted from live workshops presented at national meetings for health care professionals.  Funded by a 3-year grant from the Agency on Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), the program was developed by our team of experts in clinical and academic pharmacy, research methods, professional education, and public health.

The program goals are to provide healthcare professionals with the knowledge to evaluate medical evidence from various types of study designs used in CER, and to increase their awareness and use of existing CER compiled by AHRQ’s Effective Healthcare Program. The program focuses mainly on CER relating to medications.

The modules listed below are video recordings and will soon be available as downloadable PowerPoint slides. They are designed as stand-alone programs. If you choose to access multiple modules, you may do so in any order.
