 Daniel J. Cobaugh, PharmD, FAACT, DABAT is Vice-President of the American Society of Health-Systems Pharmacists (ASHP) Research and Education Foundation. He manages a research grant portfolio that exceeds $1 million. In 1992, Dr. Cobaugh became a Diplomate of the American Board of Applied Toxicology. From 1995 through 1997, Dr. Cobaugh was the President of the Association of Poison Control Centers of New York State. During his tenure at the American Association of Poison Control Centers, he was responsible for implementation of the nationwide toll-free number for poison centers (1-800-222-1222) and development of a standardized approach for developing patient management guidelines for poisoning. He has authored over 75 publications.
